# What are the location requirements for a Minnow Pod?

## The Pod must be secured from tipping and located near an electrical outlet. It must also be located in an area where there is a strong (3 bars or higher) cellular signal.

To prevent tipping, the pod must be attached to a wall or mounted to a special floor plate provided by Minnow. The Pod must be located within 3 feet of a 120V electrical outlet. It must also be located where there is a strong cellular signal (3 bars or higher) for each major wireless carrier. A Pod should never be installed in a location where it might impede egress, create a safety risk, or violate federal, state, or local building or fire codes.
