How to connect a Pickup Pod to a cellular network

By default, Pickup Pods connect to the Internet through a cellular network (specifically, Verizon 4G). If a pod is not currently connected to the Internet and you want to connect it via a cellular network, just turn the pod on. It will connect to the cellular network automatically.

If a pod is currently connected to the Internet with an Ethernet cable, follow these steps:

  1. Unplug the cable, which is located on the back of the pod, in the center, about 6.5 inches above the ground. The pod will automatically connect to a Verizon 4G cellular network.

If a pod is currently connected to the Internet via a WiFi network, follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to support@minnowpod.com asking Minnow to disconnect the pod from the WiFi network. The email must contain the following:
    1. The name of the person making the request.
    2. The location of the pod.
    3. The network SSID.
    1. Minnow will disconnect the pod from the WiFi network within 1 business day of receiving the request.
    2. After the pod is disconnected from the WiFi network, it will automatically connect to a Verizon 4G cellular network.
